We’d love you to join us on our church weekend away!
Why?
There’s nothing like a weekend away for accelerating friendships, and really digging into scripture. Whether you’ve been part of church family for years or whether you’ve recently arrived it’s always a great time for making new acquaintances or deepening friendships, and always good to spend time delving deeper into God’s word.
When?
16th-18th February 2024
Where?
Who?
Everyone at St Ebbe’s Headington. Younger, older, married, children, single, retired, student, unemployed, working…
We’re looking forward to a weekend where we enjoy growing in friendship and fellowship, have lots of fun, and grow in love and knowledge of Jesus.
Our main talks will be on the love of God. Ian Fry (retired Families Worker from St Ebbe’s Central) will be joining us to talk us through the different aspects and outworkings of God’s love. Watch the video below to hear from him.
We’ll have children’s and HeadsUp groups during the main sessions, as well as some extra fun activities for them.
Whether you like the buzz and excitement of a big group of people and lots going on all the time, or if you prefer quieter spaces to chat, read or nap there will be options for all.
Whitemoor Lakes is a purpose built conference and activity centre.
All meals are provided and dietary requirements catered for. We all eat together in the centre’s dining room.
Accommodation is in rooms of between 2 and 7 beds. All rooms have ensuite bath/shower rooms. Rooms are gathered in ‘lodges’, connected to the main centre by ‘lodge lounges’. Each lodge lounge is equipped with a kitchenette and TV and DVD facilities. We will also have access to the Sports Hall.
