What we Believe

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

We believe in the wonderful message of forgiveness and hope that is found in the Bible. It all revolves around Jesus Christ: who he is and what he has done!

What to expect in a service

Currently, due to Covid-19, we are hosting different services than normal. Information about current arrangements can be found on our homepage.

In normal times, our in-person services last about an hour and there will always be people to greet you at the door! Come as you are, there's no dress code, and there is always time for tea and coffee after the service.

The service will be led by a member of our church family, with an ordered and joyful mix of music, prayers, Bible readings and a talk.

Midweek Events

St Ebbe's Headington is a busy and vibrant church all year round! We've got a number of other events during the week, for a range of ages. There are Bible studies, prayer meetings, parents & toddlers groups and more: many of our groups are continuing online. Check out the 'Everyday' webpages for more information.
