New to St Ebbe's Headington?

You are very welcome!

We are a friendly, Bible-centred church in Headington, Oxford. St Ebbe's welcomes anyone and everyone to investigate what knowing God is all about. If you are new to the area you would be especially welcome at one of our Sunday services, at 10.30, 3.30 or 7.00. Please come as you are, there’s no dress code, and we hope you’ll feel at home.

You are very welcome!

What we Believe

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
(John 3:16)

We believe in the wonderful message of forgiveness and hope that is found in the Bible. It all revolves around Jesus Christ: who he is and what he has done!

What to expect in a service

We have services at 10.30am, 3.30pm and 7.00pm, all of which meet in our Lime Walk church building. There will always be people to greet you at the door!

The service will be led by a member of our church family, with an ordered and joyful mix of music, prayers, Bible readings and a talk. Children's Groups run during the 10.30 and 3.30.

Our services last for about an hour and a quarter, after which tea, coffee and snacks are served.

Mid-Week Events

St Ebbe's Headington is a busy and vibrant church all year round! We've got a number of other events during the week, for a range of ages. There are Bible studies, prayer meetings, parents & toddlers groups and more: check out the 'Church Life' and 'What's On' webpages for more information.
