We aim to run regular events that help us grow in faith and spiritual maturity, and that put in place friendships that will serve that purpose.

There are small groups that meet from time to time, and the big highlight is our weekend away.

So every couple of years, men of all ages (well, 12-112) from church family head off for some quality time away together as blokes; bonding in fellowship and faith, digging into scripture and into food, learning from, and encouraging one another.

We’ll spend time in God’s Word, hearing and studying particular applications to us as men, so that we might live as men of God in our homes, families, workplaces, sports teams, music groups, and so on.

It’s definitely a highlight of the year and a real chance to recharge, relax and refocus.
