Splat! is a welcoming, engaging and fun messy play group for pre-schoolers and their mums, dads or carers, every Wednesday during term-time 10-11.30am at our church building on Lime Walk.
There’s lots of fun things to do, with crafts, games, train tracks, toys, the Tuff Tray (our messy play area), baby corner and a painting easel! We begin at 10am with some nursery rhymes, songs and short child-friendly Bible story. Snacks and home-made cakes are provided for the children and hot drinks for adults.
There’s no need to book in advance, just turn up!
Cost for each session is £2 per adult and £1 per child aged two and over, with a maximum cost of £4 per family. Free for under-2s. Payable on the door by cash or card.
Join us at 3pm on Sunday 16th October for a short toddler-friendly service celebrating Harvestime. There'll be children's songs, a short Splat!-style talk and prayers, followed by autumn-themed family crafts, a conker hunt and children's tea. The service is suitable for children up to the age of seven or eight, so older siblings are welcome! We'll also be collecting tinned or dry goods for the Asylum Welcome foodbank in East Oxford.
