What we believe

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

We are a church family who worship God as Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God loves the world he has made, and in Jesus entered our world to make himself known. He lived a life of perfect love and justice; died for our sins on the Cross; was raised physically from death and ascended into heaven; is building his worldwide church and one day will return to make all things new. He drives our life together.

We are a Christian Church

We believe in one God who has revealed himself supremely through his Son, Jesus Christ. To know God means receiving Jesus as Lord and trusting his death for our forgiveness. The great work of the Holy Spirit is to bring people to faith in Jesus.

We are an Evangelical Church

We believe that the Bible is God’s living and active word and the sure guide for us in all matters of faith and life. We believe that as the Bible is taught, the Holy Spirit changes the lives of individuals and our church community. We seek to apply the Bible to every aspect of our lives and to share its message of good news with others in our community and around the world.

We are an Anglican Church

We stand in the tradition of the Anglican Reformers of the 16th century and with them hold to the great truths rediscovered at that time – the sovereignty of God in salvation, justification by faith alone and salvation in Christ alone. We welcome church members from many different denominational backgrounds and we unite together under Christ.
